Thank you so much for checking out ShoeFly Adventure! My name is Courtney & I am the founder of ShoeFly and I love all things travel, fitness & adventure!

The name ShoeFly is a combination of my last name/nickname “Shoe” from Shoemaker and my love of skydiving, as well as a tribute to my hometown of Lancaster, PA where Shoofly Pie (an amazing and delicious dessert) can be found at diners and farmer’s markets all over!

In my past life I worked in corporate logistics and my love for adventure started when I started skydiving on the weekends during my time in Iowa. I then started using any vacation days I got to travel, skydive, scuba dive, hike or really anything that sounded like fun in the great outdoors!

For the past 5 years I stepped away from corporate America to start a gym and try out that business owner life. During that time I got some coaching certifications, learned way more about business than I ever did in business school & corporate America, met some awesome people and got to have mini adventures just about everyday while helping people get fit and live their best lives and have some f*cking fun! I recently sold my shares to the gym so that I can travel more, and hopefully bring you all with for the next great adventure.
